Ewan Colville
Managing Director
Over a 25 year career, Ewan has held senior marketing roles with Bass Brewers, promotions specialist Draft Worldwide and insurer Ageas, where he was Director of Marketing and e-commerce responsible for £65M of annual online revenue.
From its launch in 2001 until 2005, Ewan was Marketing Director of s1, Scotland's most profitable online publisher, and from 2006-2011 Ewan headed VisitScotland's long-haul marketing team where his role focused on digital deployment.
Ewan is a Fellow of the Marketing Society and a multi-award winning digital marketer. Ewan mentors start-up business owners through the Entrepreneurial Scotland and Entrepreneurial Sparks mentoring programmes
Kamila Lipska
Paid Search & Social Marketing Specialist
Over 12 years experience in online marketing, specialised in growth hacking and PPC in English, Spanish and Polish. She loves challenges and her brain never stops to search solutions.
In online marketing she worked for complex projects as well as for small startups launches, always focusing on results, which it’s the biggest driver for her personal and professional life.
In her own words “I don’t believe in unicorns and success build overnight. As Robert Collier said, success is the sum of small efforts – repeated day in and day out.”
Andy Goodall
Web Designer/Project Manager
BA (Hons) Communication Studies
Andy has been involved in web site design, development and project management since 1999.
Andy specialises in responsive web site design, mobile app design, email campaigns and online ads, and has been managing teams on projects covering large scale government projects to smaller bespoke web builds.
Projects include National Trust for Scotland, Scottish Golf Union, Heineken, Worldwide Cancer Research, Royal Lyceum Theatre, Tennents, The British Council, Baillie Gifford, National Museums of Scotland, and Jupiter Artland.
An award winning designer Andy has been recognised for his achievements by the Scottish Advertising Awards (Gold and Silver) and The Roses Awards (Gold and Bronze).
Julia Boxer-Peden
Digital Campaign (Facebook) Specialist and Project Manager
With over 14 years-experience in working in digital marketing and advertising, Julia has a wide range of digital knowledge and has worked across a variety of sectors, from Government to not-for-profit clients.
She is a Facebook Expert, with a love of problem solving especially in the analytic sphere.
She believes in living life with courage and loves learning new skills, which is a great attitude with ever-changing digital platforms.
Trevor Jones
Digital Campaign Specialist/Project Manager
With both practical hands-on business experience, and more than 20 years working in the digital industry, Trevor’s knowledge covers a wide spectrum across multiple sectors. He now specialises in Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising management services.
As a qualified Google Ads consultant and Google Partner he manages a portfolio of client’s paid advertising accounts including nationwide businesses and International groups.
Trevor has a deep passion for mountains and has climbed in the UK, Nepal, Bolivia, Ecuador and Europe. For him his mountaineering high point (pun not intentional) was summitting Illimani, a Bolivian volcano, which is 6,438 m (21,122 ft) high.
Nathan Payne
Lead Developer, SEO and Paid Search Specialist
A graduate from Abertay University in Web Development, Nathan is a highly experienced PHP developer, who has worked with Ewan, Andy and Ben on website projects across the past 6 years.
Nathan has undertaken multiple complex web integrations with CRMs ranging from Magento to Blackbaud, Dynamics, Salesforce and Pabau plus integrations with third party platforms and apps.
Nathan is also a qualified Google Adword Pro and an SEO specialist.
Michael Thomas
Digital Marketing Specialist
Michael has worked in digital marketing and content creation since 2005, including spells with Festivals Edinburgh and the Royal Lyceum Theatre.
He has also provided freelance digital services for a range of clients including ScotRail, Church of Scotland, Alzheimer Scotland, Creative Carbon Scotland, Dunfermline Athletic Football Club and for many of Edinburgh's Festivals, such as Edinburgh International Book Festival, Edinburgh's Hogmanay, Scottish International Storytelling Festival, and Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival.
Michael's skills and experience include copy writing and editing, social media and website content management, and the creation and editing of image, graphic, audio and video assets.
Ben Usher-Smith
Digital Designer/UI Specialist
Ben has over 15 years’ industry experience in digital design and is widely recognised as one of Scotland’s leading UI specialists.
He successfully ran his own small studio and has provided freelance design services to a variety of digital agencies in Scotland.
Ben brings a wealth of digital design and development experience to this project. He has particular strengths in applying usability heuristics to design problems.
