Delegate App for Annual Conference and Events Program

Challenge

Deliver an app-based solution for delegates attending this highly prestigious annual summit, attended by global entrepreneurial leaders and Scotland’s vibrant community of start-ups and serial entrepreneurs

Delivery

• We adapted the excellent Attendify white-label app, working closely with Attendify to implement custom-features
• We used the full functionality of Attendify to include:
  • Private messaging between delegates and within specially convened groups
  • Speaker and delegate profiles and conference schedule
  • Organiser and sponsor push notifications and messages to delegates
  • One-click social share to delegate’s personal or professional social networks
  • Full suite of app use analytics
  • Live delegate polling and post-conference survey
• We helped the client develop a pre-conference comms plan to ensure delegates knew of the conference app and were encouraged to download it

Outcome

• Near 90% uptake of the app amongst the 300+ delegates attending
• Overwhelmingly positive ratings for the app, resulting in its repeated use for future events
